Wuskwatim Hydro Generation Station


Description: Manitoba Hydro has submitted a proposal to construct and operate a 200-megawatt hydro electric generating facility. The proposed facility would be located on the Burntwood River near Nelson House, in the northern part of Manitoba.

Federal Responsible authorities: Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Transport Canada

Status: News Release - Minister of the Environment announces decision on Wuskwatim Hydro Generation Station in Manitoba.
