Building Construction - Canadian Forces Base Kingston

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The project will build a new facility that will centralize core activities for one Canadian Forces Base Kingston Regiment, such as training, maintenance, operational planning and command and control functions. This "fit for purpose" and sustainable building will support and allow the Regiment to accomplish its current responsibilities and prepare for future missions.

The scope of the project includes the construction of a 9,674 square meter facility on land that is currently primarily vacant and undeveloped. Project construction is expected to begin in 2024 and be completed in 2025, with occupancy anticipated in 2026. The life expectancy of this building is 40 years.
