Lord's Cove, NL, Fog Signal Site Upgrades

The Canadian Coast Guard is undertaking a project to upgrade the existing Fog Horn Installation at Lord's Cove, NL. It is expected that the work will be completed Summer 2022.
The scope of the project is to construct a 4.5m steel tower with a light adjacent to the existing foghorn. Solar panels will be installed on a separate foundation to power the light. The existing foghorn will also be replaced. Total footprint of the new installations will be approximately 6m2.
