Cap-aux-Meules Wharf - Replacement of bollard

The project consists of the reconstruction of a new mooring bollard at the Cap-aux-Meules wharf in order to replace the existing B77 terminal with a greater capacity (75 MT).

The works include:

  •      Bollard removal;
  •      Removal of a concrete base from the ramp and other sections;
  •      Removal of the foundation of the existing bollard;
  •      Replacement of all these elements.

The work is scheduled for the summer of 2022.

May 18, 2022 - Transport Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Transport Canada is inviting public comments until June 17 2022 respecting that determination.
