Resurface Parking Lot - Woodstock Detachment

Resurface existing asphalt surface. Project to include re-painting of parking lot lines and accessibility spaces. Surface area is approximately 28,000 square feet (Consultant to confirm space as part of SOW). Repair curbing where needed. Additional parking spots are required (approximately 6-9) to be confirmed by consultant. Potential for existing garbage bins to be removed and can be converted into 2 spaces with minimal changes required. Possibility to add 5-6 spots on the left side of the main building (existing curbing and lawn to be removed). New subbase will be required in that area. Request for 1 spot near CRU (Crime Reduction Unit)  building (currently a landscaped area). Consultant to consider angled parking in design. It was noted that 2 storm drains at this location are in poor condition. Consultant to investigate and report activities required to address the storm drains. It is not anticipated that any lighting will be required at this time as there is a separate project for lights. There may be a requirement to repair a small section of sidewalk within this project. Maliseet indigenous people are in this area. Location of building is in an area that has a mix of commercial and residential.
