Culvert Replacement- Taxiway Golf, 8 Wing Trenton

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the demolishing of the existing culvert and culvert bridge at Taxiway Golf, located at 315 South Perimeter Road, Taxiway Golf, 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario. This will include the demolition of the existing culvert and the paved road cross over. Separation of reusable material will be conducted for installing new culvert and any of the demolished unused waste materials will be disposed of off DND property. The construction of a new culvert and the new road crossing will commence, where the culvert will be replaced with a new corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert. Once installed, the asphalt road crossing over the culvert will be rebuilt. The site will then be restored to match natural surround area and the construction site cleanup will proceed. The project is estimated to start in August of 2021.
