O'Chiese Culvert 2 Replacement Project

O'Chiese First Nation plans to replace and repair culvert and road assets damaged by the 2020 spring flooding. The proposed project will replace a damaged culvert, located at 8-2-45-11-W5M, with a new culvert of appropriate size for the drainage area. The project will also repair the road crossing the culvert to pre-flood condition and add erosion control.

April 15, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until May 15, 2021 respecting the determination.
