Hydrometric Station Decommissioning - Fisher River, Manitoba

Environment and Climate Change Canada proposes to decommission a non-operational hydrometric station at Fisher River, Manitoba. This includes removing a metal walk-in shelter and a cableway.

The cableway consists of a 55 m steel cable across the river, 2 towers (10 m from the river), and concrete anchors for the towers (7 m from the river). The steel cable will be cut and immediately winched to a drum. The towers and anchors will then be removed. The work will be completed within 1-3 days.
