Interior & Exterior Upgrades to Facility

The Proposed Project

The Detachment is accessed off the main road, via a paved approach. The parking lot for the Detachment is also paved. There are roadside ditches and culverts at the approach to the structures, with surface flow expected to be to the southeast. The Detachment is a brick building with an asphalt shingled roof. It was constructed in 1977. It is a single storey building with electric heat. The statement of work includes both interior and exterior work. Exterior work is not limited to replacing walkways, replacing lighting, and adding key pad and exterior post. Interior work is not limited to adding a HVAC unit, restructuring various rooms to meet RCMP requirements, including updating lighting throughout and upgrading fire alarm system. Estimated extent of repaving is approximately 1000 square meters.
