Maintenance Dredging at FRPD Waterlot

Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc. (FRPD) proposes to conduct maintenance dredging within the waterlot fronting the New Westminster works yard, generally located at 447 Twentieth Street, New Westminster, British Columbia. FRPD uses the waterlot to moore water-based equipment including spud-derricks, barges, cutter suction dredge. Maintenance dredging is required to re-establish the required depth for safe mooring of FRPD's fleet of marine-based equipment. The dredging is proposed to be completed using a clamshell dredge bucket with disposal by barge at a marine disposal site. All works would be conducted under a valid disposal at sea permit and would take place within the fish least risk window for the Fraser River.
