Turning Block Replacement, Pointe-Sapin, NB

The proposed project will include the installation of a new turning area and the addition of armourstones at the extremity of the existing breakwater (structure 302). The approximate footprint of the armourstones is 445 m2. The proposed activities are expected to begin in Summer/Fall 2020 and be completed by March 2021. Project commencement is subject to DFO-SCH operational priorities and funding, as well as the receipt of other regulatory approval processes, which could delay the completion of the project to March 2025.

To help inform this determination, DFO-SCH is inviting public comments in respect to that determination for 30 days following the posting of this notice.
