Containment Cell Construction and Dredging, Val Comeau, NB
The proposed project will include the construction of a new containment cell (approximately 5,500 m2) adjacent to the existing service area, dredging of approximately 7,000 m3 of in-situ material from within the harbour and placement of this material within the new containment cell. The proposed activities are expected to begin in Fall 2020 and be completed by March 2021. Project commencement is subject to DFO-SCH operational priorities and funding, as well as the receipt of other regulatory approval processes, which could delay the completion of the project to March 2025.
