Blood Tribe Irrigation Infrastructure Expansion Project

Blood Tribe is proposing an expansion of their agricultural irrigation infrastructure system. The Expansion Project consists of adding approximately 3,400 acres of new irrigation adjacent to the existing irrigated lands consisting of pumps, pressure supply lines and 22 pivots drawing water from the existing gravity lateral pipelines.

January 15, 2020 - The public period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
