Wahnapitae First Nation New Housing Project - 5 New Homes and 7 Lots Servicing

Wahnapitae First Nation is expanding the amount of homes within their community to ensure adequate housing is available to community members. To accomplish this, the community will construct five (5) new homes, and bring in utilities for seven (7) lots to ensure an adequate stock of homes remains available. All homes will be less than or equal to 1250 square feet, and will require drilled wells and septic fields. The homes will be heated via propane heating, and hydro service is readily available at the lot line.

The lots are currently vacant and ground material will be removed where necessary. A stand of mature pine trees will not be removed as part of this home construction, and will be preserved for residence enjoyment.
