Lowering of the local groundwater table
This is a non-designated project on federal lands or outside Canada. The listed authorities are responsible for the project assessment.
The project consists of the installation of rain chambers over approximately 835 m along Highway 138 to increase water retention and thus lower the local groundwater table. Gravity pipes will be installed from lot 5 356 265 (Quebec cadastre) on Route 138 to the Gulf, totalling approximately 530 m. The project also includes the addition of an outlet to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
