The Proposed Project

The City of Port Moody proposes to install new scour protection and repair the concrete boat launch ramp located at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. The proposed scour protection includes the installation of custom gabion structures at the toe of the ramp. Gabions are proposed to be installed by excavator and extend two meters beyond the edge of the existing ramp. The concrete ramp repairs include pressure washing and concrete repair. The works are proposed to take place during applicable least risk fish windows for Burrard Inlet. Extended hours may be required to complete construction activities during favorable lowest tide conditions.
